American Made Pedestal Table
Equipped with adjusters, the feet of your Price Double Pedestal Table always deliver a level eating surface. Through durable, time-tested mortise and tenon construction, the feet, pedestals, and trestle beam are securely fastened to support the one-inch thick table top. The top itself is secured by heavy hanger bolts. In its largest size, with all four self-storing leaves included, the Price Double Pedestal Table can seat up to twelve. Expanding your double pedestal table is simple as the slides for affixing leaves are gear driven and move effortlessly. Floor-to-apron clearance is 26, so virtually any side or arm chair you select can be accommodated.All you have left to do, in order to make the Price Double Pedestal Table your very own, is select your wood species and custom stain from the options menu. To get the look pictured, order in Brown Maple wood with the Spring Twig finish.

SIZE: My wife and I love our table. We're a large, nuclear family (four children). We eat together at least once a day; we play lots of board games, and there's lots of homework! Our extended family lives nearby so we wanted a table large enough to seat them. Once the two leaves are out, we can seat 10 comfortably. (Maybe 12 ... if they really like their neighbors.)
STYLE: We liked this table for its simplicity and traditional Japanese (through tenon and trestle legs) look. Our children tend to make lots of messes so working around the feet is easy (Roomba is more thorough as well). We also like the ability to fit chairs where the legs rest, comfortably.
FIT FINISH: The table is well made. The finish is even, hard, and beautiful. We chose Oak with Winter Bark to contrast our natural hickory floors. I have two complaints. The first is the joinery where the two edges meet in the middle. There's a slight bow in the middle which causes a 1/16th gap on each end. Not a huge deal, and to be expected from handmade furniture. My second issue is the through tenon. It's not real. The ends are faux covers to hide the bolts that hold the table together. The description even states "mortise & tenon trestle". I may end up making my own someday when the warranty and kids are gone.
COMPANY: They're very communicative and friendly. The delivery company set up the table and made sure it was level and we were happy. We'll be buying from them again.

Perfect Tavern Table
We bought this table recently as our kitchen/dining table since we don't have a separate dining room. We love the look and feel, the pieces fit together incredibly smoothly and lock in place, and the leaves expand the table perfectly. We bought the 36x60 -- the table without any leaves can fit 4 people comfortably, or 6 people tightly. The table with both leaves can fit 8 people comfortably, or 12 people tightly. My husband loves the look of the rough sawn maple, where the "imperfections" add to the aesthetic, and it's both a visually elegant and a perfect "tavern table" feel at the same time.

We are thoroughly enjoying our new table! It fits our space perfectly, and it makes our family meals all the more lovely. The butterfly leaf is perfect for when Grandma comes by for Sunday dinner, making it easy to accommodate more guests, and just as easy to store back away so that our everyday table's footprint is just what we need. It is incredibly solidly built, and has stood up to our 11 yo son (which is really saying something).
