Amish Built Double Pedestal Table
Select your responsibly harvested American hardwood species and our Amish craftsmen will stain your Wylie Double Pedestal Table to your specifications by sanding and wiping the surface by hand to a uniform finish. An industry-leading catalyzed varnish is then applied to offer a lifetime of water and wear resistance in this solid wood pedestal table.You may order four optional expansion leaves that will easily expand along geared slides. The glorious swooping double pedestal of the Wylie is also crafted from your chosen hardwood and reinforced by a tenon. All the joints in the base are mortise and tenon and your table top is connected by braced hanger bolts to ensure a lifetime of durable service. Both pedestals are equipped with levelers to prevent any disruption of the smooth dining surface. To achieve the look as shown, consider a Brown Suede stain over smooth Brown Maple.

The nicest piece of furniture I've ever owned
When we renovated our apartment, my wife and I knew we wanted a round table with round pedestal in wood. Countryside Amish presented one of the only options, although it was more than we had ever spent on a single piece of furniture.
And it was totally worth it! We love the table. It's so beautifully crafted. The finish is lovely and seems durable. We haven't yet used the leaves, as our 48" round does indeed seat 6 comfortably, but we're glad to have them for larger parties we plan to host.

The table is gorgeous! The artistry that went into the table is just amazing! This is the most beautiful table we have owned. It is lovely! I love having friends and family over for meals -- so all can enjoy it!

SIZE: My wife and I love our table. We're a large, nuclear family (four children). We eat together at least once a day; we play lots of board games, and there's lots of homework! Our extended family lives nearby so we wanted a table large enough to seat them. Once the two leaves are out, we can seat 10 comfortably. (Maybe 12 ... if they really like their neighbors.)
STYLE: We liked this table for its simplicity and traditional Japanese (through tenon and trestle legs) look. Our children tend to make lots of messes so working around the feet is easy (Roomba is more thorough as well). We also like the ability to fit chairs where the legs rest, comfortably.
FIT FINISH: The table is well made. The finish is even, hard, and beautiful. We chose Oak with Winter Bark to contrast our natural hickory floors. I have two complaints. The first is the joinery where the two edges meet in the middle. There's a slight bow in the middle which causes a 1/16th gap on each end. Not a huge deal, and to be expected from handmade furniture. My second issue is the through tenon. It's not real. The ends are faux covers to hide the bolts that hold the table together. The description even states "mortise & tenon trestle". I may end up making my own someday when the warranty and kids are gone.
COMPANY: They're very communicative and friendly. The delivery company set up the table and made sure it was level and we were happy. We'll be buying from them again.

The table was customizable to my exact specifications, it was ready in half the time quoted, the delivery experience was well coordinated and carried out by a skilled furniture delivery person (no freight carrier), and the table is STUNNING and made with a more durable finish than any major online or brick-and-mortar furniture store…even those that are far more expensive.

Love my table
We needed a very long sturdy table to seat around 18-20 people, and this table has been amazing. The delivery was smooth, people were very kind. We would definitely buy again. Right now we are only using fold out seating and are even considering some matching chairs.
