A truly excellent chest of drawers...

This chest of drawers is beautifully made and fits perfectly in my seaside home. I wanted to share a story that attests to the quality and craftsmanship (though I don't recommend testing this out on your own!). A week ago, we had a large coastal storm and water came in through my ceiling and went right on top of this bureau. AND, we didn't know of the leak until 3 days later when we arrived home so this water was literally sitting on top for 3 days. I don't know how its possible but the chest had ZERO damage. I have to assume that the finish is so finely honed that it just resisted any staining. I was shocked and thrilled as I would have been so sad to see this beautiful piece of art ruined. I will be very excited to purchase through Countryside again

So glad we ordered from Countryside! The Cheraw bed is beautiful, simple, well constructed, and absolutely timeless. The wood and stain choices were fantastic. The site was simple and the ordering process, painless. The communication and delivery were on point. Countryside has made it easy and met all our expectations. The finish is so smooth, the drawers glide smoothly, the cabinets close crisply and easily. My dad was a woodworker, so I know the hours of work that go into creating such beautiful and functional furniture. The furniture is not inexpensive, but it is worth every penny knowing that it is made from solid maple with beautiful brass pulls and knobs. This was the first time I had a bed specifically designed to my liking. The process was fun and easy. Ordering was a piece of cake. I received sample of the wood base and finish. I was guided throughout the process. Delivery was on tract and as guaranteed. I was totally pleased with my Countryside Amish Bed. I've talked about it to family and friends.
