Solid wood construction ensures your family will be enjoying the Morgantown Double Pedestal Table you designed for many generations. Pictured in Brown Maple with a two-tone finish, you may have this custom American-made table in any of nine wood species. Choose the stain you prefer and our Amish artisans will hand rub your table to a perfect depth of color and add a top coat of catalyzed conversion varnish. The double pedestal and trestle hybrid is standard with a bowed end top shape with a waterfall edge. All six sizes accept up to four center leaves on geared slides.

Using time-honored furniture making techniques like mortise and tenon joinery, your Morgantown Double Pedestal Table will be built to order. Add this beautiful dining table to your online shopping cart and Countryside will take care of the rest. Do you prefer the pictured look? Consider a River Rock stain on the table top paired with a contrasting Kettle Black wood finish on the base.

Ok, this is about to sound like a commercial, but when you find something amazing you have to share. Some things are worth waiting for!! When we decided to settle in one place we both agreed that it was time for a new kitchen table. After an EXTENSIVE search, I found Countryside Amish Furniture, LLC . Solid wood (nothing engineered and no veneers), amazing construction, comparable in price to other stores, I was able to pick the wood and stain color, $150 nationwide delivery, and a military discount! The only downside is that it took 20 weeks to get it from the time I placed my order, but I knew that going in. Ooh, and the customer service experience was top-notch! With two internal butterfly leaves it goes from seating 6 to up to 14 with the right chair configuration. I am in love!!!

SIZE: My wife and I love our table. We're a large, nuclear family (four children). We eat together at least once a day; we play lots of board games, and there's lots of homework! Our extended family lives nearby so we wanted a table large enough to seat them. Once the two leaves are out, we can seat 10 comfortably. (Maybe 12 ... if they really like their neighbors.) STYLE: We liked this table for its simplicity and traditional Japanese (through tenon and trestle legs) look. Our children tend to make lots of messes so working around the feet is easy (Roomba is more thorough as well). We also like the ability to fit chairs where the legs rest, comfortably. FIT FINISH: The table is well made. The finish is even, hard, and beautiful. We chose Oak with Winter Bark to contrast our natural hickory floors. I have two complaints. The first is the joinery where the two edges meet in the middle. There's a slight bow in the middle which causes a 1/16th gap on each end. Not a huge deal, and to be expected from handmade furniture. My second issue is the through tenon. It's not real. The ends are faux covers to hide the bolts that hold the table together. The description even states "mortise & tenon trestle". I may end up making my own someday when the warranty and kids are gone. COMPANY: They're very communicative and friendly. The delivery company set up the table and made sure it was level and we were happy. We'll be buying from them again.
