French Country in style, your lovely Ladue Butterfly Leaf Trestle Table boasts delicate curves on a significant frame to ensure this Amish-made masterpiece lasts a lifetime. Select your wood and it will be hand-selected to become your kitchen table. To order as shown, choose Cherry. For a more traditionally Provincial look, have your dining table made in Brown Maple with a distressed Vanilla Crumb finish. While one butterfly leaf is included, some sizes allow you to add an additional self-storing extension.

Choose from nine woods and six sizes to design the perfect, custom Ladue Butterfly Leaf Trestle Table for your home or restaurant. Countryside's Amish artisans will handcraft it to order. Add one to your online shopping cart.

The following sizes accept 1 butterfly leaf:

  • 42" x 60"
  • 48" x 60"

The following sizes accept 2 butterfly leaves:

  • 42" x 66"
  • 42" x 72"
  • 48" x 66"
  • 48" x 72"

*Dimensions do not include leaves. Each butterfly leaf adds 18".

**One butterfly leaf is included with table.

Additional Information:

  • 42" between each trestle on 66" and 72" table.
  • 30" between each trestle on 60" table.
  • 60" table will take 1 chair per side.
  • Apron is 2 1/2"; Floor to apron clearance is 26 1/2".

SIZE: My wife and I love our table. We're a large, nuclear family (four children). We eat together at least once a day; we play lots of board games, and there's lots of homework! Our extended family lives nearby so we wanted a table large enough to seat them. Once the two leaves are out, we can seat 10 comfortably. (Maybe 12 ... if they really like their neighbors.) STYLE: We liked this table for its simplicity and traditional Japanese (through tenon and trestle legs) look. Our children tend to make lots of messes so working around the feet is easy (Roomba is more thorough as well). We also like the ability to fit chairs where the legs rest, comfortably. FIT FINISH: The table is well made. The finish is even, hard, and beautiful. We chose Oak with Winter Bark to contrast our natural hickory floors. I have two complaints. The first is the joinery where the two edges meet in the middle. There's a slight bow in the middle which causes a 1/16th gap on each end. Not a huge deal, and to be expected from handmade furniture. My second issue is the through tenon. It's not real. The ends are faux covers to hide the bolts that hold the table together. The description even states "mortise & tenon trestle". I may end up making my own someday when the warranty and kids are gone. COMPANY: They're very communicative and friendly. The delivery company set up the table and made sure it was level and we were happy. We'll be buying from them again.
