Traditional Pedestal Table

Opening on geared slides, your Virginian Pedestal Table can grow with just a tug on the end. Your single pedestal table's inch-thick top features a roundover edge in an oval shape. With 26 inches of clearance from floor to apron, almost any arm or side chair will fit comfortably. Hand-selected lumber is sanded and stained to a consistent finish. Our craftsmen then apply a water and wear-resistant catalyzed conversion varnish to ensure your Virginian Pedestal Table will stand the test of time.

Made exclusively from the pristine American hardwood you select, your Virginian Pedestal Table will become a treasured heirloom in your family. Make your selections and our Amish artisans will handcraft the Virginian that is perfect for your family.

The following sizes accept 4 leaves, self-store 4, 2 with aprons:

  • 42" x 60"
  • 48" x 72"

The following size accepts 4 leaves, self-stores 2, 1 with apron:

  • 42" x 66"

*Base sizes do not include leaves. Each leaf adds 12".

**Floor to apron clearance is 26"H. 

***Pedestal size is 21 1/2"W x 13 1/2"D.

When we renovated our apartment, my wife and I knew we wanted a round table with round pedestal in wood. Countryside Amish presented one of the only options, although it was more than we had ever spent on a single piece of furniture. And it was totally worth it! We love the table. It's so beautifully crafted. The finish is lovely and seems durable. We haven't yet used the leaves, as our 48" round does indeed seat 6 comfortably, but we're glad to have them for larger parties we plan to host.
