I love my new table. It’s solid and well built. The stain color is just like the sample. The two extensions work great and store in the table. Ordering, delivery and set up was professional and easy.

I was looking to replace another two-drawer file that was laminated and not of great quality. The countryside product is night and day better. Outstanding construction of solid wood. I truly believe that it will last a lifetime.

Beautiful look

Countryside has exceeded my expectations with this outstanding desk built to my unique specifications. They were very responsive as we worked the design and delivered on schedule. I will only use Countryside next time I need a piece of furniture like this.

SIZE: My wife and I love our table. We're a large, nuclear family (four children). We eat together at least once a day; we play lots of board games, and there's lots of homework! Our extended family lives nearby so we wanted a table large enough to seat them. Once the two leaves are out, we can seat 10 comfortably. (Maybe 12 ... if they really like their neighbors.) STYLE: We liked this table for its simplicity and traditional Japanese (through tenon and trestle legs) look. Our children tend to make lots of messes so working around the feet is easy (Roomba is more thorough as well). We also like the ability to fit chairs where the legs rest, comfortably. FIT FINISH: The table is well made. The finish is even, hard, and beautiful. We chose Oak with Winter Bark to contrast our natural hickory floors. I have two complaints. The first is the joinery where the two edges meet in the middle. There's a slight bow in the middle which causes a 1/16th gap on each end. Not a huge deal, and to be expected from handmade furniture. My second issue is the through tenon. It's not real. The ends are faux covers to hide the bolts that hold the table together. The description even states "mortise & tenon trestle". I may end up making my own someday when the warranty and kids are gone. COMPANY: They're very communicative and friendly. The delivery company set up the table and made sure it was level and we were happy. We'll be buying from them again.

Just wanted you to know how happy Steve and I are with our bed and nightstands. I can't believe I'm actually making my bed every day.
