Presidio Rustic Dining Table

We bought this table recently as our kitchen/dining table since we don't have a separate dining room. We love the look and feel, the pieces fit together incredibly smoothly and lock in place, and the leaves expand the table perfectly. We bought the 36x60 -- the table without any leaves can fit 4 people comfortably, or 6 people tightly. The table with both leaves can fit 8 people comfortably, or 12 people tightly. My husband loves the look of the rough sawn maple, where the "imperfections" add to the aesthetic, and it's both a visually elegant and a perfect "tavern table" feel at the same time.

I just wanted to let you know our table has arrived. The gentlemen delivering it were great, super professional, right on time, and got in and out. The table is really beautiful. It's exactly what we were looking for and matches the two corner pieces we bought from you several years ago perfectly. I chose the Flintt Pullout Console Table without the Hutch top. I also ordered a sideboard, a dining bench, and a writing desk with the same finish options used for the table. Friends thought I had lost my mind to make an investment in 4 pieces of furniture without seeing a single piece provided by Countryside. I believed that the reviews provided were accurate, but was still concerned about my investment. The furniture far exceeded my expectations and the white-glove delivery definitely exceeded my expectations...I highly recommend the console table and any other piece of furniture made by the Countryside artisans.

SIZE: My wife and I love our table. We're a large, nuclear family (four children). We eat together at least once a day; we play lots of board games, and there's lots of homework! Our extended family lives nearby so we wanted a table large enough to seat them. Once the two leaves are out, we can seat 10 comfortably. (Maybe 12 ... if they really like their neighbors.) STYLE: We liked this table for its simplicity and traditional Japanese (through tenon and trestle legs) look. Our children tend to make lots of messes so working around the feet is easy (Roomba is more thorough as well). We also like the ability to fit chairs where the legs rest, comfortably. FIT FINISH: The table is well made. The finish is even, hard, and beautiful. We chose Oak with Winter Bark to contrast our natural hickory floors. I have two complaints. The first is the joinery where the two edges meet in the middle. There's a slight bow in the middle which causes a 1/16th gap on each end. Not a huge deal, and to be expected from handmade furniture. My second issue is the through tenon. It's not real. The ends are faux covers to hide the bolts that hold the table together. The description even states "mortise & tenon trestle". I may end up making my own someday when the warranty and kids are gone. COMPANY: They're very communicative and friendly. The delivery company set up the table and made sure it was level and we were happy. We'll be buying from them again.

I just wanted to tell you what a pleasure it was ordering furniture from Countryside Amish. We had never done this in the past and were a bit nervous but you made us very comfortable. Then all was delivered last week and we are so very happy with the look and quality of the craftsmanship! Absolutely gorgeous! So much so that I just ordered another piece to match that room! We absolutely love our new dining room table. We could not be any happier with our purchase. Also, the delivery person was amazing. We live in a residential neighborhood and because of the size of his truck, he had to dolly it down the street, in below zero temps. He was awesome, careful with the assembly, and friendly. We also appreciated the demonstration on the butterfly leaves.

The craftsmanship on the table and chairs was first class. A table of just the right size in a small dining room but still looks premier in quality and stature.
