I chose the Flintt Pullout Console Table without the Hutch top. I also ordered a sideboard, a dining bench, and a writing desk with the same finish options used for the table. Friends thought I had lost my mind to make an investment in 4 pieces of furniture without seeing a single piece provided by Countryside. I believed that the reviews provided were accurate, but was still concerned about my investment. The furniture far exceeded my expectations and the white-glove delivery definitely exceeded my expectations...I highly recommend the console table and any other piece of furniture made by the Countryside artisans.

We knew in advance about the enduring quality of the furniture at Countryside Amish but the beauty of the design and the wood itself is a whole other experience in the context of our home. And "white glove" doesn't even begin to describe the gentle, meticulous manner in which the set was delivered and assembled. We expect that future generations of family will revere this furniture as an unmatchable heirloom.

SIZE: My wife and I love our table. We're a large, nuclear family (four children). We eat together at least once a day; we play lots of board games, and there's lots of homework! Our extended family lives nearby so we wanted a table large enough to seat them. Once the two leaves are out, we can seat 10 comfortably. (Maybe 12 ... if they really like their neighbors.)
STYLE: We liked this table for its simplicity and traditional Japanese (through tenon and trestle legs) look. Our children tend to make lots of messes so working around the feet is easy (Roomba is more thorough as well). We also like the ability to fit chairs where the legs rest, comfortably.
FIT FINISH: The table is well made. The finish is even, hard, and beautiful. We chose Oak with Winter Bark to contrast our natural hickory floors. I have two complaints. The first is the joinery where the two edges meet in the middle. There's a slight bow in the middle which causes a 1/16th gap on each end. Not a huge deal, and to be expected from handmade furniture. My second issue is the through tenon. It's not real. The ends are faux covers to hide the bolts that hold the table together. The description even states "mortise & tenon trestle". I may end up making my own someday when the warranty and kids are gone.
COMPANY: They're very communicative and friendly. The delivery company set up the table and made sure it was level and we were happy. We'll be buying from them again.
