The finish is so smooth, the drawers glide smoothly, the cabinets close crisply and easily. My dad was a woodworker, so I know the hours of work that go into creating such beautiful and functional furniture. We bought this table recently as our kitchen/dining table since we don't have a separate dining room. We love the look and feel, the pieces fit together incredibly smoothly and lock in place, and the leaves expand the table perfectly. We bought the 36x60 -- the table without any leaves can fit 4 people comfortably, or 6 people tightly. The table with both leaves can fit 8 people comfortably, or 12 people tightly. My husband loves the look of the rough sawn maple, where the "imperfections" add to the aesthetic, and it's both a visually elegant and a perfect "tavern table" feel at the same time.

When we renovated our apartment, my wife and I knew we wanted a round table with round pedestal in wood. Countryside Amish presented one of the only options, although it was more than we had ever spent on a single piece of furniture.
And it was totally worth it! We love the table. It's so beautifully crafted. The finish is lovely and seems durable. We haven't yet used the leaves, as our 48" round does indeed seat 6 comfortably, but we're glad to have them for larger parties we plan to host.

I got the nightstand recently along with a king bed and dresser. All of the furniture was extremely well made with high quality touches in the handle hardware and soft close drawers made it even better. We got the winters bark stain which is dark and beautiful. Honestly we are so happy with this furniture and hope to get more!

My husband and I purchased the entire Alpine Bedroom set (King bed frame, dresser with mirror, two nightstands, and chest) shortly after our honeymoon in 2017. It's been three years now and we've survived a big move to Germany this summer and still, we are commenting on how this was the best purchase of furniture we've made!
