Like all our Amish-made furniture, the Barrie Leg Table is handcrafted in the USA using solid hardwoods and time-honored joinery. It’s available in a wide range of sizes and can be built to expand with optional center leaves. The standout feature here is the table's distinctive leg profile. Chunky and square with subtle beveling, the legs have a transitional look that bridges the gap between traditional turned legs and more contemporary straight designs. They’re squared at the top, slightly tapered, and finished with soft rounded feet that add just enough visual interest without overwhelming the silhouette.

This solid wood dining table brings timeless craftsmanship and everyday elegance to your home. Featuring a clean rectangular top with softly rounded corners and a custom edge, it offers a smooth, inviting surface that works beautifully in both casual and more traditional dining spaces. The main issue I had with dining tables in the past was that I always bumped my knee on the legs. I fell in love with this table legs the first time I saw it. I've looked in many places including local furniture stores and web stores and it's either they didn't have it or too expensive. I came across this website one day and found that I could customize the table to the size I need, color I wanted and the type of finish I love, and they had the best price I could find. The table was carefully delivered and assembled by their own employee. Every little part was well made and flawless. I'm really happy with this table and it's very easy to take care of.

I picked this table for two key reasons. First, you can sit anywhere and not bump your knees. Second, it expands to a whopping 15 feet long. This was the only table I found that satisfied both of those requirements, and I'm happy to report that it delivered on both. Resizing the table is easy, and it's so well made that no latch is required to hold the leaves in place. The legs have a nifty little adjustable foot, so that the table remains stable even if the floor isn't quite perfectly level. Customer service was great, the delivery was easy to schedule, and assembly was quick. Overall, 5/5. I'm very happy with our purchase.

SIZE: My wife and I love our table. We're a large, nuclear family (four children). We eat together at least once a day; we play lots of board games, and there's lots of homework! Our extended family lives nearby so we wanted a table large enough to seat them. Once the two leaves are out, we can seat 10 comfortably. (Maybe 12 ... if they really like their neighbors.) STYLE: We liked this table for its simplicity and traditional Japanese (through tenon and trestle legs) look. Our children tend to make lots of messes so working around the feet is easy (Roomba is more thorough as well). We also like the ability to fit chairs where the legs rest, comfortably. FIT FINISH: The table is well made. The finish is even, hard, and beautiful. We chose Oak with Winter Bark to contrast our natural hickory floors. I have two complaints. The first is the joinery where the two edges meet in the middle. There's a slight bow in the middle which causes a 1/16th gap on each end. Not a huge deal, and to be expected from handmade furniture. My second issue is the through tenon. It's not real. The ends are faux covers to hide the bolts that hold the table together. The description even states "mortise & tenon trestle". I may end up making my own someday when the warranty and kids are gone. COMPANY: They're very communicative and friendly. The delivery company set up the table and made sure it was level and we were happy. We'll be buying from them again.
