Each piece of Amish handcrafted furniture in this set features resplendent raised panels and regal rope moulding. Drawers in the desks and filing cabinets are installed on full extension slides so that even the back corners are accessible. The interior joints of the drawer boxes are dovetailed for superior durability. Cabinet doors and aprons are attached with mortise and tenon construction and everything produced is rubbed by hand to a consistent finish and coated with a catalyzed varnish. Hardware choices in the Irvine office series are quite traditional, but perfectly express the gentility and character of these exceptional furnishings.

We bought this table recently as our kitchen/dining table since we don't have a separate dining room. We love the look and feel, the pieces fit together incredibly smoothly and lock in place, and the leaves expand the table perfectly. We bought the 36x60 -- the table without any leaves can fit 4 people comfortably, or 6 people tightly. The table with both leaves can fit 8 people comfortably, or 12 people tightly. My husband loves the look of the rough sawn maple, where the "imperfections" add to the aesthetic, and it's both a visually elegant and a perfect "tavern table" feel at the same time.Rachel
