Winnipeg Octagon Picnic Table

Hi there. I purchased queen size bed from Countryside Amish Furniture and I just wanted to let all the employees who worked on this piece of furniture that it was the most beautiful piece of furniture I have ever purchased!!!! So much is on the market that is just junk with no effort to put quality and comfort in them. The Amish furniture is priceless and will last a lifetime. Just wanted to let you know that we are so pleased and thankful to all of you including the delivery employee. I will probably be searching for some more furniture in the future from your store!!!!!

Table arrived few weeks early and was in great shape. We have been using a few months now and have had 0 issues and it stands up great to my 4 kids. Very sturdy and beautiful.

This is the nicest piece of furniture I have ever owned. My old bedroom furniture is like doll house furniture by comparison. The beveled mirror is high enough so I don't have to bend over to see myself the wood is gorgeous, the drawers glide like magic and it's built to last for generations.

SIZE: My wife and I love our table. We're a large, nuclear family (four children). We eat together at least once a day; we play lots of board games, and there's lots of homework! Our extended family lives nearby so we wanted a table large enough to seat them. Once the two leaves are out, we can seat 10 comfortably. (Maybe 12 ... if they really like their neighbors.) STYLE: We liked this table for its simplicity and traditional Japanese (through tenon and trestle legs) look. Our children tend to make lots of messes so working around the feet is easy (Roomba is more thorough as well). We also like the ability to fit chairs where the legs rest, comfortably. FIT FINISH: The table is well made. The finish is even, hard, and beautiful. We chose Oak with Winter Bark to contrast our natural hickory floors. I have two complaints. The first is the joinery where the two edges meet in the middle. There's a slight bow in the middle which causes a 1/16th gap on each end. Not a huge deal, and to be expected from handmade furniture. My second issue is the through tenon. It's not real. The ends are faux covers to hide the bolts that hold the table together. The description even states "mortise & tenon trestle". I may end up making my own someday when the warranty and kids are gone. COMPANY: They're very communicative and friendly. The delivery company set up the table and made sure it was level and we were happy. We'll be buying from them again.

Very well designed and built desk with hutch. I chose oak with a natural finish. Well worth the wait to have it built. Delivery and setup was carefully and professionally done. Would purchase furniture here again.
