Overview

6-Drawer Shaker Chest

The Waleska Chest of Drawers' tall, streamlined profile makes efficient use of vertical space while maintaining the clean, structured lines that define this classic style. The solid hardwood construction allows the natural character of the wood grain to stand out, creating a piece that feels both warm and authentic. Six dovetailed drawers provide generous storage for folded clothing, linens, or seasonal garments. Each drawer is built with full extension undermount soft-close slides, allowing them to open smoothly and close quietly while offering full access to the drawer interior. The simple square hardware and framed drawer fronts reinforce the understated design that Shaker furniture is known for.

Handcrafted in the USA by skilled Amish artisans, the Waleska Chest of Drawers is built entirely from solid hardwood and finished by hand to enhance the natural beauty of the wood. Choose your preferred hardwood, or choose Rustic Cherry for the pictured look.

Estimated Lead Time: 12-18 weeks from order to delivery. $150 flat-rate shipping with inside delivery and setup.

Beautiful!

Our bedroom furniture was delivered yesterday and it is absolutely beautiful! We are so very happy with the style, color of stain and the workmanship! Allen did a wonderful job getting it upstairs with my husband's help. Thank you for all your assistance along the way! We have highly recommended Countryside Amish to friends. The whole room has a different and more beautiful feel to it!

Lovely Cambridge chest with door

I am so thankful for the beautiful workmanship of this piece. Drawers glide so nicely on their own to close. I’m so pleased to have worked with Lauren who was so helpful with questions. Thanks again

Thanks!

I am more than happy to provide feedback. We are beyond thrilled with the furniture. Not only is it beautiful, but it is extremely well made. The finish is so smooth, the drawers glide smoothly, the cabinets close crisply and easily. My dad was a woodworker, so I know the hours of work that go into creating such beautiful and functional furniture. The furniture is not inexpensive, but it is worth every penny knowing that it is made from solid maple with beautiful brass pulls and knobs. It was also great to have professionals deliver and set up the furniture. I'm so glad I found your company in my online search.

A truly excellent chest of drawers...

This chest of drawers is beautifully made and fits perfectly in my seaside home. I wanted to share a story that attests to the quality and craftsmanship (though I don't recommend testing this out on your own!). A week ago, we had a large coastal storm and water came in through my ceiling and went right on top of this bureau. AND, we didn't know of the leak until 3 days later when we arrived home so this water was literally sitting on top for 3 days. I don't know how its possible but the chest had ZERO damage. I have to assume that the finish is so finely honed that it just resisted any staining. I was shocked and thrilled as I would have been so sad to see this beautiful piece of art ruined. I will be very excited to purchase through Countryside again
