I LOVE the hutch and the dining table. While I can't show it off at this time, the few people who have seen it fell in love with it as much as I did. The gentlemen who delivered and assembled everything were polite, friendly, and efficient. Received the coffee table this evening, and my wife and I are very pleased with the quality workmanship, wood selection, ordering procedure (sight unseen other than picture and sample chip), delivery and communication, and your pricing. I'm especially pleased that the finish is absolutely FLAWLESS and matches our "Mikes" finish on our dining-room set and living room rocker from other manufacturers perfectly. We purchased the Ashland set including a coffee table, an end table, and a chairside table. We are very happy with the simplicity, quality, and style. I had been looking for tables at other stores, and the quality of this furniture is well worth the money. I hope to be able to pass these on to a grandchild or niece or nephew. And I'm sure we will be able to some point. Workmanship and quality matter.

SIZE: My wife and I love our table. We're a large, nuclear family (four children). We eat together at least once a day; we play lots of board games, and there's lots of homework! Our extended family lives nearby so we wanted a table large enough to seat them. Once the two leaves are out, we can seat 10 comfortably. (Maybe 12 ... if they really like their neighbors.) STYLE: We liked this table for its simplicity and traditional Japanese (through tenon and trestle legs) look. Our children tend to make lots of messes so working around the feet is easy (Roomba is more thorough as well). We also like the ability to fit chairs where the legs rest, comfortably. FIT FINISH: The table is well made. The finish is even, hard, and beautiful. We chose Oak with Winter Bark to contrast our natural hickory floors. I have two complaints. The first is the joinery where the two edges meet in the middle. There's a slight bow in the middle which causes a 1/16th gap on each end. Not a huge deal, and to be expected from handmade furniture. My second issue is the through tenon. It's not real. The ends are faux covers to hide the bolts that hold the table together. The description even states "mortise & tenon trestle". I may end up making my own someday when the warranty and kids are gone. COMPANY: They're very communicative and friendly. The delivery company set up the table and made sure it was level and we were happy. We'll be buying from them again.
