Our bedroom furniture was delivered yesterday and it is absolutely beautiful! We are so very happy with the style, color of stain, and the workmanship! We are happy with the purchase. I have a couple of recommendations. The groves and “distressing “ on the top do not show clearly on the picture that is featured on the Internet and are not preferred. Thanks for not putting any distressing on the other surfaces. If you had I may have sent it back. The slight curvature around the doors detracts from the piece, making it appear sort of “rustic”. The young man that delivered it arrived on a Sunday instead of his original time. We were out of town, but my daughter happened to be here and he was able to deliver the furniture. To all the wonderful people at countryside: WOW!!! I received my three pieces of oak Victoria Sleigh furniture in midnight slate and they are beautiful. They already feel heirloom and there is no sign of mass production. I'm so impressed. The color makes an antique style so modern as well. It was a risk to buy off a picture and a sample but I am so happy!! We even had our doors matched to the sample you sent and all turned out beautiful.
