Legs are attached at reinforced corners by heavy hanger bolts and this expandable dining table can stand up to anything your family can dish out. Wooden slides open to accept leaves which permit comfortable seating for up to 12, depending on the base size of your table.Shown in a two-toned look as well as Quartersawn White Oak, your Lancaster Leg Table will be made-to-order. For a more Queen Anne look, smooth Brown Maple and Sassafras are a perfect pair. We knew in advance about the enduring quality of the furniture at Countryside Amish but the beauty of the design and the wood itself is a whole other experience in the context of our home. And "white glove" doesn't even begin to describe the gentle, meticulous manner in which the set was delivered and assembled. The split pedestal table is made well and just right for us. Small enough for the two of us but with a half dozen leaves, big enough for all the kids and grands!
I highly recommend
I chose the Flintt Pullout Console Table without the Hutch top. I also ordered a sideboard, a dining bench, and a writing desk with the same finish options used for the table. Friends thought I had lost my mind to make an investment in 4 pieces of furniture without seeing a single piece provided by Countryside. I believed that the reviews provided were accurate, but was still concerned about my investment. The furniture far exceeded my expectations and the white-glove delivery definitely exceeded my expectations...I highly recommend the console table and any other piece of furniture made by the Countryside artisans.
Review
I picked this table for two key reasons. First, you can sit anywhere and not bump your knees. Second, it expands to a whopping 15 feet long. This was the only table I found that satisfied both of those requirements, and I'm happy to report that it delivered on both. Resizing the table is easy, and it's so well made that no latch is required to hold the leaves in place. The legs have a nifty little adjustable foot, so that the table remains stable even if the floor isn't quite perfectly level.
Customer service was great, the delivery was easy to schedule, and assembly was quick. Overall, 5/5. I'm very happy with our purchase.

The table was customizable to my exact specifications, it was ready in half the time quoted, the delivery experience was well coordinated and carried out by a skilled furniture delivery person (no freight carrier), and the table is STUNNING and made with a more durable finish than any major online or brick-and-mortar furniture store…even those that are far more expensive.
