When we renovated our apartment, my wife and I knew we wanted a round table with round pedestal in wood. Countryside Amish presented one of the only options, although it was more than we had ever spent on a single piece of furniture. And it was totally worth it! We love the table. It's so beautifully crafted. The finish is lovely and seems durable. We haven't yet used the leaves, as our 48" round does indeed seat 6 comfortably, but we're glad to have them for larger parties we plan to host.

Hi There! We are thoroughly enjoying our new table! It fits our space perfectly, and it makes our family meals all the more lovely. The butterfly leaf is perfect for when Grandma comes by for Sunday dinner, making it easy to accommodate more guests, and just as easy to store back away so that our everyday table's footprint is just what we need. We bought this table recently as our kitchen/dining table since we don't have a separate dining room. We love the look and feel, the pieces fit together incredibly smoothly and lock in place, and the leaves expand the table perfectly. We bought the 36x60 -- the table without any leaves can fit 4 people comfortably, or 6 people tightly. The table with both leaves can fit 8 people comfortably, or 12 people tightly. My husband loves the look of the rough sawn maple, where the "imperfections" add to the aesthetic, and it's both a visually elegant and a perfect "tavern table" feel at the same time.
