Overview
Hardwood Kitchen Island & Bar Seating
The Flandreau Bar Chair translates the collection's understated style into counter- and bar-height seating. Its gently curved double-slat back provides support without visually overwhelming the room, while tapered legs and clean joinery keep the profile tailored and versatile. A sculpted wooden seat adds comfort while allowing the character and grain of the selected hardwood to remain an important part of the design. Available in both 24" counter height and 30" bar height, the Flandreau makes it easy to create coordinated seating around kitchen islands, counters, pub tables, and home bars. Well-placed stretchers reinforce the solid wood frame while also providing a comfortable place to rest your feet.More importantly, this is seating made for real, long-term use. Each Flandreau Bar Chair is individually handcrafted to order by experienced Amish artisans rather than produced on a high-volume assembly line. From the strength of its hardwood frame to the shaping, sanding, and final finish, careful attention is given to the details that determine how a chair looks and performs years after it enters your home.
Estimated Lead Time: 12-18 weeks from order to delivery. $150 flat-rate shipping with inside delivery and setup.

Love this Bar Stool
Really love this bar stool. Well made and very comfortable.
Beautiful furniture!
Beautiful and top notch quality! I keep coming back for more from this store. I have the Broussard bar stools in natural cherry to match my custom countryside table, chairs, and side table in the wood. Beautiful furniture! Great customer service and delivery service.
These stools are AMAZING!
These stools are incredibly well-built and beautiful! I wanted to share a picture, but couldn't get the megabits low enough. :-(
Review
Superb quality- far exceeded my expectations in every way. I had a dining room set locally made and the woodworker did not do counter height stools so I found coutryside amish for the stools. They were kind enough to let me purchase some of the stain so that my local person could use it so everything would match. While my locally made set is lovely, the Countryside Amish stools are absolutely stunning. So comfortable, and handcrafted with the utmost care. I also ordered a bureau which was amazing as well. I'm excited to purchase again for some other stools I need. Great company and product.
Very Pleased
Countryside accommodated all our needs and exceeded our expectations in all areas. We are very pleased with the table and chair set and the bar stools and we are thrilled with the way they blend with our newly remodeled kitchen. We also appreciate your help in working with us on custom table sizing options to fit in our unusual eating area.
