The butterfly leaf is perfect for when Grandma comes by for Sunday dinner, making it easy to accommodate more guests, and just as easy to store back away so that our everyday table's footprint is just what we need. It is incredibly solidly built, and has stood up to our 11 yo son (which is really saying something). Thanks again.

I searched high and low for a table that was exactly like this- 2 leaves that were hidden away and making the table smaller than my old table in the closed position and bigger with the leaves. It's sturdy and gorgeous.
