Handcrafted by our Amish artisans, the Bering Sea Chest of Drawers combines solid hardwood construction with durable mortise and tenon joinery. Each drawer of your Bering Sea Chest of Drawers is crafted by our woodworkers using dovetailed joinery. Dovetailed joinery is considered one of the strongest methods in carpentry and provides a lasting joint for your chest drawers.Use the options menu to indicate preferred specifications for the Bering Sea Chest of Drawers. If you would prefer to obtain the pictured look on your chest of drawers, choose Quartersawn White Oak with our Terra Cotta finish option. The 6-drawer vertical chest will be topped with a catalyzed conversion varnish.

A truly excellent chest of drawers...
This chest of drawers is beautifully made and fits perfectly in my seaside home. I wanted to share a story that attests to the quality and craftsmanship (though I don't recommend testing this out on your own!). A week ago, we had a large coastal storm and water came in through my ceiling and went right on top of this bureau. AND, we didn't know of the leak until 3 days later when we arrived home so this water was literally sitting on top for 3 days. I don't know how its possible but the chest had ZERO damage. I have to assume that the finish is so finely honed that it just resisted any staining. I was shocked and thrilled as I would have been so sad to see this beautiful piece of art ruined. I will be very excited to purchase through Countryside again

Our bedroom furniture was delivered yesterday and it is absolutely beautiful! We are so very happy with the style, color of stain and the workmanship! Allen did a wonderful job getting it upstairs with my husband's help. Thank you for all your assistance along the way! We have highly recommended Countryside Amish to friends. The finish is so smooth, the drawers glide smoothly, the cabinets close crisply and easily. My dad was a woodworker, so I know the hours of work that go into creating such beautiful and functional furniture. The furniture is not inexpensive, but it is worth every penny knowing that it is made from solid maple with beautiful brass pulls and knobs.
