Overview
Arts and Crafts Kitchen Chair
The Au Gres Side Kitchen Chair brings a classic Mission-inspired presence to the dining room with its tall, gently shaped back and straightforward hardwood construction. A broad central back slat adds visual weight and showcases the natural character of the wood, while the subtly curved posts soften the chair’s otherwise clean, architectural profile. At 46 inches high, the generously proportioned back gives the Au Gres a stately look that works especially well with Mission, Arts and Crafts, Craftsman, and traditional dining interiors. The sculpted wooden seat and sturdy legs complete the design with an emphasis on everyday comfort and lasting Amish craftsmanship.

Thanks!
Countryside Amish furniture is perfect! I ordered three bar stools for my kitchen counter and loved them so much that I ordered six more matching dining chairs! They are beautiful, the craftsmanship is amazing, and the communication re: my order , delivery time, etc. was excellent. Delivery itself was seamless - got plenty of notification and chairs were very carefully delivered, unwrapped and set in place. I highly recommend Countryside Amish - whole process was fantastic from ordering to delivery!!

Larkin Pressback Dining Chair
These Chairs are great. They are really made sturdy. They should last 2 lifetimes. The delivery was excellent, with not a scratch on anything I bought.
Desk and chair were excellent quality for the price. Custom make and finish so it took a while to get but worth the wait. Would highly recommend.
Comfort beyond imagination.
The chairs are so supportive and comfortable. Once again the quality is outstanding, just like the table.
We wouldn't hesitate to order from Countryside again!
We were delighted with our purchase of 8 chairs and ordering them was easy. Lauren couldn't have been more accommodating, sending finish samples and assisting with the order process. They arrived within the time frame promised and even the delivery service was a pleasure to deal with. About 6 months later when the back of one chair cracked, the replacement order was, again, handled promptly and professionally. We wouldn't hesitate to order from Countryside again!
Just gorgeous
I was expecting well-made dining chairs and these guys exceeded that. The chairs are simply gorgeous and solid. Delivery was a breeze.
Substantial chairs!
We just couldn't find bow-backed dining chairs anywhere to replace our 40 year old teak ones. Countryside Amish Furniture built us eight from quartersawn oak, and they are wonderful. The process of receiving largish stain samples, on wood, gave us confidence that our stain choice was compatible with other colors in the dining room. The chairs were built on the promised schedule and swiftly delivered. They are substantial chairs, weightier than our previous teak, and will serve us admirably for many more decades. We are very pleased!
Welcome the beauty of Amish furniture making into your home.
Countryside Amish Furniture places authentic North American timber in the hands of highly trained Amish furniture makers, resulting in pieces like the Au Gres Kitchen Chair.
As much as the Au Gres Kitchen Chair reflects Amish excellence, it will also reflect your individual style.
