The chairs matched the table perfectly. The table is 48 years old and is made of solid wood and your chairs look like they were always a part of the set. The set is located in our breakfast area and looks like the day we purchased it. Just a quick note to tell you how very satisfied we are with the beautiful chairs. We purchased the Ashland set including a coffee table, an end table, and a chairside table. We are very happy with the simplicity, quality, and style.
