Rustic Wood Table with Metal Base

Made of solid American hardwood, re-sawing and rough-hewing give our Marquette Table with Metal Base its rugged good looks. The Amish handmade process makes each piece subtly one-of-a-kind. Rustic and refined, its expandable design accepts one 18-inch leaf at either end. Open each end of the table on geared expansion slides, and simply insert the breadboard leaf when company is expected.

Your 1" thick hardwood table top, built-up edge, and straight skirting sit atop a striking metal "X" base for added industrial flair. Choose your preferred wood type and starting size, and our Amish artisans will get started on your one-of-a-kind heirloom table. Countryside Amish Furniture will send you finish samples to aid in your color decision.

We bought this table recently as our kitchen/dining table since we don't have a separate dining room. We love the look and feel, the pieces fit together incredibly smoothly and lock in place, and the leaves expand the table perfectly. We bought the 36x60 -- the table without any leaves can fit 4 people comfortably, or 6 people tightly. The table with both leaves can fit 8 people comfortably, or 12 people tightly. My husband loves the look of the rough sawn maple, where the "imperfections" add to the aesthetic, and it's both a visually elegant and a perfect "tavern table" feel at the same time.
