Breathtaking solid wood perfectly preserved in its most natural state makes this live edge counter height dining table not only beautiful but completely one-of-a-kind.

While available in a number of hand-applied wood finishes, live edge tables are often finished naturally, enhancing the beauty of the hardwood grain without the use of additional stain steps. The Gunther Live Edge Bar Table is pictured in Rustic Brown Maple with an Au Naturel finish.

We bought this table recently as our kitchen/dining table since we don't have a separate dining room. We love the look and feel, the pieces fit together incredibly smoothly and lock in place, and the leaves expand the table perfectly. We bought the 36x60 -- the table without any leaves can fit 4 people comfortably, or 6 people tightly. The table with both leaves can fit 8 people comfortably, or 12 people tightly. My husband loves the look of the rough sawn maple, where the "imperfections" add to the aesthetic, and it's both a visually elegant and a perfect "tavern table" feel at the same time.
