Proudly standing on a robust pedestal and made exclusively of solid, renewable, American hardwood the Nova Scotia Pedestal Table is Amish handmade to order. A magnificent one-inch thickness of your chosen hardwood can be presented either as a solid table top or with the addition of up to four self-storing leaves. You will find a deliberate avoidance of filler, veneer, and plywood in your Nova Scotia Pedestal Table. Leaves are also solid wood and cut by hand from a single piece before they are placed on gear-driven slides. Arm chairs are a welcome addition to this amazing table with a floor to apron clearance of 26 1/2".

Your options are limitless with this hearty, solid hardwood dining table. Choose from the wood species, stains, and sizes below to make a Nova Scotia Pedestal Table all your own. If you wish to purchase as shown, select Brown Maple with a Madison Ways wood finish.

The main issue I had with dining tables in the past was that I always bumped my knee on the legs. I fell in love with this table legs the first time I saw it. I've looked in many places including local furniture stores and web stores and it's either they didn't have it or too expensive. I came across this website one day and found that I could customize the table to the size I need, color I wanted and the type of finish I love, and they had the best price I could find. The table was carefully delivered and assembled by their own employee. Every little part was well made and flawless. I'm really happy with this table and it's very easy to take care of.

When we renovated our apartment, my wife and I knew we wanted a round table with round pedestal in wood. Countryside Amish presented one of the only options, although it was more than we had ever spent on a single piece of furniture. And it was totally worth it! We love the table. It's so beautifully crafted. The finish is lovely and seems durable. We haven't yet used the leaves, as our 48" round does indeed seat 6 comfortably, but we're glad to have them for larger parties we plan to host.

We bought this table recently as our kitchen/dining table since we don't have a separate dining room. We love the look and feel, the pieces fit together incredibly smoothly and lock in place, and the leaves expand the table perfectly. We bought the 36x60 -- the table without any leaves can fit 4 people comfortably, or 6 people tightly. The table with both leaves can fit 8 people comfortably, or 12 people tightly. My husband loves the look of the rough sawn maple, where the "imperfections" add to the aesthetic, and it's both a visually elegant and a perfect "tavern table" feel at the same time.
