Night Table with Open Base
Reminiscent of 19th Century Mission style furnishings, our Abilene Nightstand with Open Base has all the makings of the perfect bedside table. A 1 3/8" thick plank top is stylishly affixed with pinned mortise and tenon joinery, but offers a minimal overhang to fit in tight spaces. Just below is a single dovetailed drawer that fully extends for use of every inch of space. Smooth side panels and a nominal bottom edge detail offer a clean, modern look in a rustic piece. A lovely open display space is useful for books, slippers, or stuffed animals. Whatever you place in your Abilene Nightstand with Open Base, it will stand securely on four square pedestal feet.
