Solid wood dining furniture never goes out of style. Your Kiawah Contemporary Dining Table expands to seat twelve when you choose up to six leaves on wooden slides. A fifth leg will be centered for extra support if you elect a larger version of the Kiawah. Influence the end result of your Amish dinner table when you choose from any of the leg designs below. All of them include a leveler to provide a crisp, uniform surface for your modern dining table.

You choose the Kiawah Contemporary Dining Table we deliver to your home by also confirming the hardwood species, stain color, edge profile, and size of your large Amish table. Experience 25 3/5” of arm chair clearance around this hand-cut, one-inch thick, moderna shaped table top. Create your own vision with all the options found within our online options menu. The following size accepts 4 leaves, self-stores 2, 1 with apron:

  • 36" x 48"

The following size accepts 4 leaves, self-stores 4, 2 with aprons:

  • 42" x 60"

The following sizes accept 6 leaves, self-store 4, 2 with aprons:

  • 42" x 66"
  • 42" x 72"
  • 48" x 72"

*Dimensions do not include leaves. Each leaf adds 12".

**Floor to apron clearance is 25 3/4"H.

***Center support leg is added with two or more leaves.

We bought this table recently as our kitchen/dining table since we don't have a separate dining room. We love the look and feel, the pieces fit together incredibly smoothly and lock in place, and the leaves expand the table perfectly. We bought the 36x60 -- the table without any leaves can fit 4 people comfortably, or 6 people tightly. The table with both leaves can fit 8 people comfortably, or 12 people tightly. My husband loves the look of the rough sawn maple, where the "imperfections" add to the aesthetic, and it's both a visually elegant and a perfect "tavern table" feel at the same time.
